Inspired by my teaching experience in the UK, I published a German textbook on International Marketing Management that is written in an Anglo-American style. I use clear German language, practical examples and case studies to transfer theoretical concepts to management practice.
One of my favourite teaching format is the flipped classroom (or inverted classroom) format. This is a blended teaching and learning approach in which students prepare content prior to in-class sessions based on e-lectures. In class, students apply their knowlege to practical cases, thereby deepening their knowledge. For an example, how a flipped classroom module may look like, please visit the following website:https://flippedclassroomhrw.wordpress.com/
In 2015, I took part in an experiment Prof im Praktikum to challenge my business skills in market research. During this experiment at Loréal Deutschland, I learned which competencies my students will need when they enter their business carreers.
In 2018, the Stifterverband provides me with funds as a digi fellow to support my project „Instant Feedback for Flipped Classroom“. I will provide you with recent information on this website.
